Mortgage Lenders to Consider

Updated Tuesday, August 30, 2022

Here is a list of lenders who can work with you on pre-qualifying and then pre-approval.  Please visit each of their links to inquire about your eligibility and potential for maximum lending amounts.  An important question to ask is "Will your pre-qualification and/or pre-approval be reported to the major credit bureaus as a hard inquiry or a soft inquiry?  How much of an impact will this have on my credit profile?"

*Please disclose upfront that you were referred by me (Walter Washington, an agent at Keller Williams Realty LR Branch) and that you are shopping around for lenders to determine which fits best for your intended preferences and outcomes.*

When interviewing and screening loan officers, ask if they are very well versed with the Central Arkansas market and can offer loans that include features such as: ☑️ Zero down or low down payments ☑️ Uses IBR plan to factor in student loans ☑️ No mortgage protection insurance ☑️ No private mortgage insurance ☑️ Properly vets a file on the frontend Asking these questions will help narrow down the best options that align most closely with your desired outcomes.

Also, if you are buying a home with a Keller Williams agent (which, I, Walter Washington, am a Keller Williams agent) or buying a Keller Williams listing, then you are eligible for the ZeroPlus loan program and all the benefits that come with it such as "Zero lender fees", "Plus $1,000 credit at closing" (for loans over $150k), and "Plus a discounted rate".  So, if you want to potentially save thousands on a mortgage and possibly hundreds more on insurance coverage, then I recommend considering Keller Mortgage and Keller Covered.  You can apply for a ZeroPlus loan exclusively with Keller Mortgage while using Keller Covered to shop and compare home insurance quotes.  Take advantage of the ZeroPlus loan - $0 lender fees with Keller Mortgage.  Shop and compare quotes from the top 40 carriers in minutes using Keller Covered.  Please visit Keller Mortgage https://kellercovered.com/agent/709967 for more information and to apply.

Just a reminder though that beyond credit scores lenders also look at your debt-to-income ratio, your monthly household expenses, your employment history, and more to determine whether you qualify for a loan.  Listed below are a few links to check out to learn more about the loan underwriting process.
