2021 Arkansas MLK Commission Virtual Homebuyer Workshop

Little Rock, Arkansas - The Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission, a division of the Arkansas Department of Education, hosted a Virtual Home Buying Seminar, Friday, May 7, 2021, 12:00 PM, streamed on all the Commission’s virtual platforms, Facebook: Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission and Arkansas Department of Education Twitter: @AMLKC and @ArkansasED Instagram: @AMLKC and @Arkansas_ED YouTube: AMLKC and www.ARKingDream.org The seminar presentation was conducted by the Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission’s very own Walter Washington, Realtor at Keller Williams Realty Little Rock.

The seminar covered several topics including calculating the costs of a new home, closing and pre-paid costs, the importance of homebuying and homeownership, the benefits of working with a lender early in the home buying process, and several resources to help homebuyers on the road to becoming homeowners.
