Mark your calendars! On Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM ET, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will host a virtual hearing on airline and credit card rewards programs. This is an opportunity for the public to hear from industry leaders, labor representatives, and consumer advocates about the competition issues and challenges that consumers face with these rewards programs.

The hearing will be moderated by CFPB Director Rohit Chopra and U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg. The panelists include:
